This position is responsible for creating and maintaining operating system images, driver packages and task sequences as well as supporting equipment in a specific system environment(s) from design through implementation and support. Specific responsibilities include performing a wide variety of installation, configuration, upgrading of workstations, servers and other related softhardware in various environments. This role provides investigation, diagnostic testing, troubleshooting and repairresolution of system hardware, software and infrastructure. Responsibilities Create and maintain operating system images, driver packages and task sequences Security update deployment Application packaging and deployment Asset intelligence and software update delivery Good understanding of the SCCM infrastructure including boundaries and site server roles. Complete configuration, installation and support of equipment in an environment conducive to the specifications of departmental or organizational needs Troubleshoot and resolve system administration related issues, providing both on-site and remote support Maintain software applications and operating systems Managing assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives and reporting to the appropriate stakeholders Gather business requirements and translate to appropriate system requirements Documentation of support instructions, processes, procedures, etc. Responding to inquiries from staff, administrators, service providers, other internal departments and outside vendors to provide technical assistance and support Generate reports as necessary regarding various systems Other duties as assigned or required Qualifications High School Diploma required, Bachelorrsquos degree preferred Minimum of 3-5 years of related experience Experience with SCCM Complexityproblem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and time management skills Ability to make decisions that have a noticeable effect department- and companywide Regularly provide advice and recommend actions involving complex issues Interpret andor discuss information with others involving terminology or concepts not familiar to many people.
