Req ID: 15543 TranSystems Corporation is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager in their Fort Worth, TX Office. The candidate will be responsible for managing a wide range of civil/highway/bridge transportation projects as well as assisting in developing new clients and maintaining existing client relationships. The successful candidate will have a diverse background with extensive experience and capable to lead large multidiscipline transportation projects. Experience with schematic development and/or major freeway design is desired. Basic Responsibilities Actively manage TranSystems?? budget and schedule, project communications and documentation including all aspects of the project including scope development, contract negotiations, staff management on large and multiple transportation projects Administer relevant aspects of a formal quality control program Administer project safety plans Coordinate work efforts and reviews work performed Manages and delivers quality civil transportation projects on-time, within budget and to the satisfaction of the client Leading and developing technical design team members Assist with client development, project pursuits and proposal preparation Perform Independent Reviews of major projects Basic Qualifications B.S. Civil Engineering required Experience in the preparation of plans, specifications and estimates. 15 plus years of progressive experience in design and management of major highway/roadway/civil engineering transportation projects Extensive project management experience Licensed TX Professional Engineer required Strong relationships with urban TxDOT districts and various other local public agencies. TxDOT precertified Strong communications skills Travel Requirements: Approximately 10-15% Preferred Qualifications: Experience with schematic development, environmental documentation and major freeway design Experience in project management and contract administration Knowledge of Microstation/Geopak and ability to use conventional design software, Excel, Word, PowerPoint TxDOT precertification in Schematic Development, Major Roadway and Bridge Design categories Ability to lead a design team on multiple assignments Travel requirements: None TranSystems Corporation - Transportation Infrastructure and Facilities - that's our focus.
